Measles Can Kill: Matt Pierce, A History of Measles
In a very revealing and detailed article by Matt Pierce that was posted in The L.A. Times, we are reminded of the reason why measles vaccinations are needed: "...measles, which was similar to smallpox..."
"2014: The
worst American measles outbreak in two decades erupted, with more than 600
cases reported -- more than triple the 2013 total. One outbreak came in
unvaccinated Amish communities in Ohio" By the way, measles can kill.
