By using the
term Public Enemy, I don’t mean the movie with a similar name:
I mean a living, breathing drug lord of the type the
movies are made about, and one of the world’s richest men, no doubt. The man
had an escape route built under his bathtub; although it did not deter the
teams of Mexican troops from swooping in and taking him into custody over this
past weekend. The charges, among many, are organized crime and drug
trafficking. Guzman escaped from prison in 2001 from Mexico’s high-security Puente Grande prison,
after having served time since 1993-he was carried out in a laundry cart. If
Guzman is extradited to the U.S., escape may become more complicated.
One of the world’s richest men: Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán
Guzman heads aMulti-billion dollar empire and has
been indicted in Eight United States courts:
“ He has been indicted
in San Diego, the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, Chicago, Texas,
Florida and New Hampshire”
